De Hongaarse Tolkienvereniging bestaat 20 jaar. Om dat te vieren organiseren ze eind juni een internationale conferentie in Boedapest.

We ontvingen volgende aankondiging en call for papers:

Dear Sir/Madam,

The Hungarian Tolkien Society celebrates its 20th anniversary this June. As part of these celebrations, the Society, together with the Institute of English Studies at Károli Gáspár University, is organising an international conference related to the life and work of J. R. R. Tolkien. The topic of the Conference will be Myth, Imagination, Literature. This will be the 6th Tolkien Conference in Hungary, and we expect the application of academics, undergraduates, graduates, and doctoral students from both the Hungarian and international academic community. 

Date of the Conference: 23-26 June 2022. 

Location: Károli Gáspár University, Budapest. 

Online participation will also be possible. 

Presenters are invited to send their abstracts of 250-300 words to the official e-mail address of the Conference (konferencia@tolkien.hu) on or before 20 April 2022.
